What to expect
I always encourage families to come to sessions ready to love on each other and cast all other worries aside. The best experiences come from living in the moment and interacting how you normally do with each other. Sessions with me are centered on fun and play and less on posing and stiff smiles. I will pose and prompt as needed, but I come into every session with an open mind and a willingness to adapt to each families needs.

Getting to know your family
I will send over a questionnaire to get to know your family better and to start dreaming about everything you hope for your session to be.

When your session arrives we will hang out and have fun together while I capture all the magic of this season of your life. 48 hours after your session you will receive a sneak peek and within 3 weeks of your session a full photo gallery.

choose collection & Session date
I will send over a proposal to secure your session. I just ask for a signed contract and a 40% non-refundable retainer - and your session date will be officially reserved.

I book sessions on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Sessions typically take place in the mornings and evenings. If you have another day of the week you are hoping to have your session, feel free to reach out still and I am happy to see if I can acommodate.

I know choosing outfits for a session can feel very intimidating! I am always happy to help you with outfit selections. I used to tell families to stick to neutral colors and jewel tones, because they photograph well. However, my biggest tip is to choose outfits that reflect your family. If you love color and patterns totally incorporate it. If you do vibe with neutrals that is beautiful too. As a mom, I always suggest choosing your outfit first and coordinating the rest of your family around that. At the end of the day, the best thing you can do is choose clothing you are comfortable in and that feels authentic to your family.

Absolutely! Upon booking I always send over a location guide with some of my favorite spots throughout St. Louis. More than anything, I will work with your family to select a location that feels true to you.

I know more and more families are choosing to become more private online, and/or not share their children's faces on social media. I absolutely understand that and will always respect the wishes of each family who works with me. I have already chosen in my business to no longer share the faces of children I photograph. More than anything, feel free to share your preferences with me and I will happily acommodate.
